This tool helps you retain vehicles for future service when ownership is transferred. You have access to all prior service posted in Carfax Service History reports, even those records uploaded by other repair shops. Using Service History Link to automatically upload new service records from your shop puts your shop name and website link in all the most recent report entries. So, a report requested for a vehicle by new owners or interested buyers leads them right back to you.
Service Link also provides quick entry of services, at recommended intervals, directly into a repair order with a single mouse click, as well as recall notification.
NOTE: This button will not appear unless the VIN is 17 characters.
myCARFAX Service Loyalty [button 2]-
This tool enables your shop to easily check whether a customer is a current myCARFAX user, and if not, creates a myCARFAX account for the customer while their vehicle is being serviced. Your shop then automatically becomes preferred by myCARFAX. When customer's car is due for service, CARFAX will promote your location as the recommended service location by delivering service alerts by email directly to the customer. Click here for details
The two tools appear at top right on the Repair Order tab. They will NOT appear until the Carfax services license agreement has been digitally signed either when AllsystemsMax PRO loads, or from File menu->Carfax Services.
When you accept the terms and conditions, your 10 character work phone number is registered with CARFAX and becomes your customer number.
An opportunity to register is automatically presented each time you open the software. If you run multiple companies, you will need to register each one.
Next you will se this message:
Before you click the Accept button, read the license agreement by clicking the Terms & Conditions link.
When you see the confirmation message, you know you are ready to go.
